Lent 2021
Each year the Church gives us a wonderful opportunity to renew our first-love and to grow in Grace and holiness. Traditionally a time of preparation for baptism at Easter, the forty days have become a practice for all Catholics to pull themselves back from habits and routines we fall into all-so-easily.

We are on familiar territory, because the first lockdown happened half way through Lent last year. Now we are used to it, so it can be an opportunity, rater than a trial.

On-line with Zoom

Zoom is an internet conferencing platform for many people to meet. You do not have to be a member, just click the blue button below for the group you want to join. If you have zoom installed it will link automatically, although you may need to download it first. You can do this by clicking the file ending .exe which will appear in the bottom left (nb only do this for things you know).  The link will be live 5 mins before each.
Mondays with Mary -  ​Each Monday at 6pm
Join the Rosary as we pray and meditate on the mysteries of the life of the Lord and Our Lady. If you have never prayed the Rosary, now's your chance to learn
Coffee with the Clergy  -  Each Tuesday at 10.30am
​A social after Mass for those of a certain generation who might need help from children or grandchildren to get them on the iPad. A chat with a cup of coffee.
Word on Wednesday  -  Each Wednesday at 4pm
​A study for children aged seven years and above. This may also be a preparation for First Holy Communion, for those who haven't done so yet. Parents invited too!   nb registration required
Young Adults Group  -  Alternate Wednesday 8.30pm
​A meeting for fellowship, prayer and formation. Accompanying one another in the Way.  For those starting out on life, at University, new job, new family.
Theological Thursday  -  Each Thursday at 7pm
​A study course for Lent. A short presentation followed by a Q&A. Do you have any questions, or any topics you would like to look at? Email FrC.
​Stations of the Cross  -  Each Friday at 6pm
​The fourteen traditional stops and meditation with Jesus on the way to his suffering and death, in preparation for Easter and his Glorious Resurrection.
