Welcome to the Most Precious Blood, Borough. I hope that this site will provide the information you are looking for. We are here to serve the people of this area and those Anglicans seeking Full Communion with the Catholic Church. However, you don't have to be either Catholic or Anglican to receive the warm welcome which awaits.
Our mission is to be a place where members of the Church of England can feel ‘at home’ in surroundings which are familiar culturally and liturgically; and come to realise that the Ordinariate is now the normative route for those who are attentive to their Anglican heritage and feel drawn to achieving full visible unity with the Holy See.
The Most Precious Blood is a Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Southwark, served by the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.
On 23rd December 2012 the Archbishop of Southwark, Peter Smith, announced that the Parish would be put into the Pastoral Care of the Ordinariate on 7th January 2013, making it the first parish to be in the care of the Ordinariate.
"We are here to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to serve the people of the Borough and all those who visit this vibrant area of London."
